Our Commitment to Professional Standards

The purpose of market and social research is to understand the behaviours, preferences and attitudes of individuals.
It plays a valuable role in the general economy by assisting businesses and Government in making decisions relating to services, policies and products.

In the conduct of its work, Kantar Operations interacts with a wide cross-section of respondents whose participation in research is entirely voluntary. In recognition of the value the company places on voluntary contribution, Kantar Operations strictly adheres to the regulations and guidelines established through the governing bodies for the social and market research industry.

As a respondent, you may be assured that the information you provide is professionally managed and used strictly for the stated purpose. It will never result in a sales call being made to your home or business and it will never be used to build a sales/marketing database.

In the UK, Kantar Operations follows the Code of Conduct of the Market Research Society (MRS) and complies with all Data Protection/Human Rights legislation.  Kantar Operations North America adheres to similar principles through the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO) and its Code of Standards and Ethics for Survey Research.
